What is net margin?
Net profit ÷ revenue, after all costs, interest and tax.
What's the difference between margin and markup?
Margin is profit as a share of the price; markup is profit as a share of cost. A 25% margin is a 33% markup.

Profit after running costs like rent and salaries, before interest and tax, as a share of revenue.
Should I include GST?
No. Use amounts before GST; GST you collect isn't your revenue.
